i'm THIS close to finishing school. my last exam is tomorrow morning at 8:30 - we'll see how well that goes, seeing as margaret thrasher is playing a show in bellingham tonight! i still have a paper that's due on thursday, but i'm well into writing it, and i'll be able to finish it pretty easily. nbd. almost summer.
does anyone know where we can get some free decent soil? we're building a new raised bed for more herbs, vegetables and some flowers. let me know if you can think of anything.
also! it's my birthday on the 3rd so we're having a party on the 4th! it will be fantastic. bring me vegan treats.

so, i know that pretty much everyone knows this, but we're getting hella discouraged and stressed out, so i thought i would remind everyone that we're looking for a house.
the whitebelt kids - that is, adam, patches, larissa, gina, boxcar, and anne - are looking for a five bedroom house! we want to live in east van - really anywhere in east van, because we're not expecting to find anything in a good location. we can probably pay up to 1800 dollars, although we'd rather something in the 1600 range, which is what we pay now. we have a dog and two cats, which makes this extra hard, and i'm addicted to gardening, so we'd like a yard to rock out in.
so, if anyone knows of ANY HOUSES FOR RENT, anywhere in east van, please contact us at 604-876-2287. we have until may 1st!!!
